Nice Pic. I am glad Tuleo is enjoying the weather as well.
It looks like he is focused on eating the flower as quickly as possibly so he can get to the next one. LOL

Beautiful smooth shell! Wow what do you keep his humidity at? What's his diet like? If bogart can one day look like that I would feel so accomplished!

What an adorable picture! I didn't realize torts love hibiscus until this year. I grabbed some that were hanging over the fence from the neighbor's yard for Charlie. It doesn't seem fair that something they love so much grows too high for them to reach.

don't worry they knock the plant down and then eat the flowers

Great Pic ! I just found out grasshoppers love hibiscus as much as Torts do ! The boogers swarmed mine and ate everything from about 6 inches up ! I will probably try to trim it back and hope to save it . :)

Thank you! Tuleo just turned 2 and is 11" long, a bit over 5lbs. I have had him since he was 5 weeks old and 56 grams. I grow all his food and he is currently outside all day but comes in at night. When he was little his humidity was between 80 and 90%. He gets sprayed down in the morning (once it is over 70 degrees) and his indoor oasis stays about 70% currently (I'm slacking off a bit these past few weeks.) Since he has been outside more he has gotten a bit more ridges and at first I was freaking out, but now I am fine with it. He gets soaks 3-4 times a week currently, diet is spot on, he is super healthy and eats great so I am just not going to worry about it. You can kinda see what I mean about ridges in this photo I took of him today. (He can't stand it when I take his photo...) He LOVES pink hibiscus. They are his crack. He refuses to eat yellow ones. He's totally weird like that.

You should totally be able to wack it back and it should be fine. They are pretty hardy plants!
