Hi I actually joined a while ago and find it very helpful on here but never posted.
Squirt, my Hermann, is 5 almost 6 years old and has discovered this year that he’s a boy. He constantly humps the plant pots in is area. And I mean constant I woke up this morning and I don’t think he’s stopped all night.
Just wanna know if this is normal behaviour. He’s not into eating much either

Perfectly normal. They do, in theory, get better with age.

However, I had my tort 47 years and he never got better. Apparently he had abnormally high testosterone levels.

The caution I have is about his eating. Make sure it is warm enough for him to eat properly... min 27C with 35-37C directly under the basking lamp... soak daily for at least 30 minutes in warm water and keep an eye in his weight.

My Greek became so sex obsessed that he stopped eating and drinking and lost one third of his bodyweight. He also got a liver problem from his failure to drink. Hopefully yours won’t go that route, but you need to be alert.
