Temps today were 110+. My sulcata (Nordys) lives outside. She has good access to grass and water. Her hide is covered and has shade. Is she OK to stay outside during this hot spell? She also gets sprinkled on when the auto sprinklers go on. She is a little larger now than this picture.
Thanks NORDYS 001_crop.jpg

I would say if she got a hide in the shade that is cooler and also enough shade it shouldn't be a problem but I would measure the temp in the hide some hides become a oven in hot weather and u don't want that

Only your thermometer can answer this question. They need a retreat outdoors that is at least in the low 90s when its 100+ top side. This is usually accomplished with something underground.

What size is your tortoise? Small ones really should not be outside all day, and especially not during extremes of hot or cold. My general rule of thumb is one hour of outside time per inch of tortoise. But those hours would not be during the mid day heat when temps are over 100.
