When do you recommend housing a sulcata exclusively outdoors? My sulcata is slightly over a year old and spends several hours outdoors each day in a kiddie pool enclosure. He seems much happier and active outdoors.
I have read that it is best to wait until they are fairly large to keep them outdoors. Is this mostly because of the threat of predators? If so, my kiddie pool enclosure has a covering of chicken wire on top to keep out predators.
