How long does it take for tortoise to reach full size?

IS there a particular species of tortoise you are asking about?

Obviously different species vary greatly in their size "potential". We don't really know what "full size" is with turtles and tortoises. It can vary tremendously within the same species. They can continue to grow for a very long time, but it normally will slow down the larger they get. The rate at which they reach any particular size will also vary trememdously depending upon food, conditions, genetics, etc, etc.

I have a sulcata that reached 20 years old two months ago. He is still growing very rapidly and is over 170 lbs. I have another that just turned 27 and he is much smaller (about 110 lbs) and is growing quite slowly now.
