how to keep tort from digging out

I'm worried because I heard tortoises dig under there Walls outside I'm sceard my tortoise might what shall I do?

What kind of tort do you have? Your tort is in an outside enclosure?

I have Aubrey my tortoise outside in the summer in this pen for the last few years I'm more worried this year. He is a three year old Herman tortoise

Are the sides of your outside enclosure sunk down at all below soil level?

Hermanns are usually not big diggers. Is he digging?

It's at ground level he really loves being out in the summer .I leave him when I go to work. He has never dug before and I hope he will not start.

Just keep an eye on him. If he starts to burrow in a certain area, then you may have to take precautions.
