....how on earth does such a giant turd come from such a tiny tort?? Is this normal for them? So many substrate covered turds went uncleaned in the past b/c i thought they were just clumps of dirt or rocks!! lol

I think their poop also tends to have a lot of moisture, so after it sits out for a bit it will dry out and shrink. I too am amazed! My tort likes to wipe his butt all over when he has a loose one and make a giant mess for his mommy to clean up, lol.
My 40 pound sulcata makes a bigger pile than my 140 pound great dane.
I'm sorry but your thread made me laugh and smile more than I have all day. I am always thinking the Same thing when cleaning up after them.
