Humidity Gauge Question

Just a quick question, I have a hatchling Cherry Head which is in a 36x18x12 enclosure, how far above the substrate should i be placing the humidity gauge to get the reading i want? Thanks in advance for the info!

Definitely on the ground where he lives just set it on the ground for a while and see what it does

Ok great, thats exactly where i had it. It seemed to make sense being thats
