I see this YouTube channel called happy tortoise and she uses 50 to 60 humidity on leopard tortoises and they look smooth!! She lives in the UK but it confuses me so much I was just wondering about that.

You have to consider where you live and what type of other equipment is used.
I raised my hatchling from hatching to being in an 80% closed chamber and she still pyramided. Why? Because I used a mercury vapor bulb and after the fact, found out they are not the bulbs too use like we thought they were.
60% may be enough in some situations. In most it won't be.

I've raised some very smooth leopard babies using strip fluorescent UVB lights, RHPs and a totally covered enclosure. I don't use a humidity measurer, but there's always condensation on the glass doors. . . very high humidity inside. Back when I used to use the Mercury Vapor Bulbs the babies were "sort of" smooth, but not totally.
