Hi all!

I've heard that Leopard torts have trouble in high humidity environments. Here in MD, humidity is usually between 50-85% in the summer, so I originally passed on owning one. Can anyone comment on this or tell me about their experiences?

They do need to be in a higher humidity as hatchlings. Read the threads below, by my signature, it will explain. All of the threads are good for leopards as well as sulcata.

They can handle high humid environments very well. There are breeders in Hawaii, Florida, and other high humid areas that have a lot of success with leopards.
