Can humidity be too high if it stays up over 90% all the time? I've been measuring between 94 and 99% humidity at 86-93 F.

The humidity is fantastic with those temperatures.

For those reading along,

Hot and humid = healthy tort
Cool (less than 80F) and humid = sick tort

I second Heathers response. Any humidity 80% or above with temps no lower then 80 and a basking spot of 95 or above is ideal.

How long should that humidity be maintained? I know that some keepers keep older juveniles and adults outside full time in good weather and it's not always humid. So at what age does humidity stop being a major concern as long as soaks and water are readily available?

I would keep it for at least until they are around two or 8inches. Then they should still have some humidity, at least in a hide.

I have 3 leopards that are outside all day, every day. But they still come inside to sleep in a humid chamber. I will keep this up until they are 10" and then reevaluate if they are ready to sleep in their outside heated house instead of the humid chamber.
