I dropped my tortoise from a height...

So, I picked him up and my tortoise is strong asf so he kinda pushed my fingers off but like launching himself, I kinda broke his fall like near the floor by catching but also not bc he also fell OUT of my hand and then landed on the top of his shell.

NOW there was literally 0 way I coulda prevented that bc it all happened so quick and I feel so fkn bad about it.

I have checked him over, no hurt limbs, no cracks on shells, no damage, he walks completely okay, seems active and responsive, really liked his food too. added extra calcium too just incase.

Anything else I can check or will he be okay this has NEVER happened.

it was about a 60-80cm drop. I broke his fall rougly like 15 cm or smt

First thing that comes to my mind is that you need to keep an eye on the shell for the next few days for any bruising.
