I have a female five-year-old Hermans tortoise that currently lives inside for the most of the year except when it’s hot outside and she goes in her outdoor enclosure for the day, I am now looking to move her into the greenhouse for all year except when she’s hibernating.
I am struggling To arrange the greenhouse for her benefits and needs, for example, what objects shall I put in there, where should I put her hide for sleeping in, and what materials to put down? I was thinking of putting live grass turf down in parts of it for when it is raining outside therefore cannot go outside in her outdoor enclosure.
I was also pondering about where and what to put in her outdoor enclosure as my garden is a decent size she cannot be left out and let her own devices. I have lots of fencing and long wooden boards. Could I manage to put the outdoor enclosure right by the greenhouse so when it is hot I can open the greenhouse doors and she can go out into her enclosure?
If someone could get back to me ASAP that would be much appreciated.
