I need some opinions please!!

Y boyfriend and I love camping for a few days at a time,,, I'm very tempted to bring my tort, however,, we camp near the woods and I'm a little concerned about parasites ,, Mosquitos and bugs, ticks etc, should I leave him at home? I just feel bad when the sun is out and he's at home, some advice please!! There are open areas of grass as well,, just not maintained,

Ya,, , leaning more towards that idea too!! Just the guilt is overwhelming!! Lol

Imagine the guilt if you should lose him in the woods (seriously, this is the more valid hazard as they can disappear in a couple blinks of an eye....he will not even know you went camping, so no need to feel guilty....
