I have raised two turtles from baby and they're old now have had them forever and I always had an empty tank next to them. I want to get a tortoise, but I don't want to purchase one if I'm not thoroughly prepared, the tank is relatively small, I wanted to know what tortoise should I get, what size tank will be good, what will I need for the tank, food etc. and how cleaning, hygiene and over all everything goes?
