If this is working well? Probably not. Only paid $10.00 for it. Looks awful humid and damp to me, especially with a humidifier on, but it still says it's below 80% humidity. Time to upgrade my equipment, I think.

So, what should I get for my closed chamber? What are you using that works well?

Thanks in advance.

The petco puck ones are never very accurate. Like +or- 10 degrees and percent... some are spot on some can't even give you the same reading twice. I use the digital thermometer and hygrometer combo from Wal-Mart. I also have a digital thermostat and humidity controller that I'd trust with my life. I double checked both together and neither are ever far off from the other.

I paid $9 for this from Walmart. Digital, temperature, humidity, 24hr highs and lows for both. I love it and have multiples.

Any hardware store will have digital, wireless, remote probed ones for around $20 too.

Cheap analog humidistats can be very inaccurate and off by as much as 30%. My guess is your humidity is closer to 90+%.
