Are these edible please for my clyde the flower heads look very much like dandelions but the stalk is hard and thin and some times has 2 heads on the same stem I'm not sure if they the cats ear plant but would like some advise please also the white clover growing with it is this edible also

Does look like cats ear which is safe according to the tortoise table. Also clover is good

Thank you I look on the tortoise table but some of the images don't look exactly the same cn he eat the flower and leaves on both then clover as well

As far as I know all Opuntia are edible and non-toxic, but that version looks fully spined. It would be much easier for you to buy some pads and plant those, instead of starting from seed.

You can order as people food on line. Just don't use to eat. Plant them.

If you do find prickly pear cactus you can use a propane torch to get the spines off... Have seen it done and it's pretty quick and easy
