Im confused help me (two tortoises together)

I just got a new baby sulcata baby because my other tortoise speedy was lonley. I need help because my new tortoise is scared of speedy how do i help my tortoises im sooooooooo confused.52410605107__5794B28A-8CCC-458B-B01D-E36BD1287B13.JPG

Tortoises don't get lonely for the company of other tortoises. They are solitary animals and are the only tortoise living in their territory. When you put two together they will fight and try to chase one out of the territory.

Speedy was not lonely.

Tortoises should not be kept in pairs. You need to separate them into their own enclosures ASAP.

why do you think that Speedy was lonely ? How was he acting because you think he is lonely ?
