I had brought a Hermann tortoise in 2011 from a petshop who had used what looks like correction fluid on his shell to paint a number on him I assume for identification. We were informed that this would wash off over time. We're here 9 years later and it still has not washed off. It has shrunk in size due to him growing and has cracked over time but is still visible (pic included) Regular baths with a toothbrush over the years have had no effect. Any advice?
