This is my first time having sulcata as a pet , im very confuse abt indoor enclosure setup. Im really need help inorder to get this right.
Heres my setup
Bedding . Coco peat
Lamp. 75 watt uv from 35 cm
Water bowl
Hiding cave

That's a cute little baby. He would benefit from some moistened sphagnum moss stuffed inside his hiding place. When you have to upgrade because he's outgrowing the aquarium, think about replacing it with a large plastic tote instead of a bigger aquarium.

Here's what I built for my red foot .The footprint is four by four foot works well cost around100.00 dollars or so

your on the right track i prefer a good plastic tub over a fish tank easier to clean much lighter and tortoise cant see out so waont pace the glass. and pretty cheep if u look around.

Yes, that tank is pretty small already for your tortoise's size.

Your set up looks really dry and small. I have a 40 gallon tank and I think its small but my tort is a hatchling so its ok for now. I went to my local hardware store and had glass cut so it would fit perfectly over the tank. It helps keep the humidity high. I also use coco coir as my substrate, it absorbs water well. I dump a few cups of water in my tank everyday since it evaporates fast. Buy a water sprayer and spray your tank often. Follow Toms threads asap.
