We will be insulating our dog house in the tort enclosure and I was wondering if you see a problem with using fiber glass panels over the foam insulation? During the colder nights we will run an oiled filled heater. ImageUploadedByTortoise Forum1423428897.865783.jpg

You're talking on the interior walls for protection of the foam? I think it will hold up to the sulcata's scratching and digging. Just be sure to attach it firmly in place.

Thanks. I have two Redfoots so I guess it would work. I'll make sure we secure it well.

Over time the fibers in the fiber glass will begin to wear loose and I think that will be a problem. Thin plywood works much better in my experience. I don't paint, seal or treat the interiors mine in any way, and I've got boxes that have been running for years with no issues.

Thanks Tom we will think about our options. I really thought this corrugated stuff was very durable. We have used it for outdoor projects without any problems.
