I was listing plants that I want on a garden exchange. Someone suggested eremophila hygrophana the blu emu bush. Can't find it as safe or not safe, does anyone know?

I don't see it, supposed to be similar to Texas sage.

Right - your specific plant isnt listed, but there are a few plants listed in the same plant family as the Blue Emu.

Family:Scrophulariaceae (skrof-yoo-larr-ee-AY-see-ee) (Info)
Genus:Eremophila (er-em-oh-FY-luh) (Info)
Cultivar: Summertime Blue

When you can’t find a specific plant, it’s often good to look at plants in the same Plant Family.

Anyhow, this doesn’t work with your Blue Emu (in the Scrophulariaceae Family) since some like Toadflax are TOXIC and some like Snapdragon are GOOD TO Feed.

Anyhow - good luck.
