Was interested in planting this, but we have Sulcata's & Red foots in the desired areas... We just wanted to make sure it's safe in case they munch any...?

Man, that is a rough one to research...lol....I find that it is deer resistant so I would wonder if the torts would even be interested? Also, I would wonder if it is too tough for then to break down while consuming????

I am still looking too,,,it sure is a pretty grass though...

So far I haven't seen negatives or positives. Maybe it's a plan they use as shade & won't eat?
