Zoomed will be the replacement bulbs, I've tried them in a couple different domes. Same result. Man this is so weird. I'll have to stick with my red light until I get good bulbs :/

Have you tried testing the thermometer probe by placing it in cold & hot water to see if the thermometer is working properly? I have a feeling the probe or its placement is the culprit. They are meant to measure ambient air temperature not surface temp. It is possible the metallic covering of the probe is reflecting the IR from the CHE and thus not warming. If the substrate is warming, then the CHE is working... A temp gun would serve you very well in this regard!

Gennifer, I think I'm not understanding.

Where is it 80 degrees?
What is the temperature directly under your new CHEs?
Which one of those 3 hoods is holding the CHE?
Where is the temperature probe for your thermostat?

The two outside domes have the CHEs. I move my plastic probe directly below the different domes right on top of the surface substrate to measure each one.
I've actually had to make a new top for the enclosure since bamboo sticks were molding. I'll attach the picture. I'm having a lot better luck with this set up. I've got a bubble water thing to help with air humidity, new thermostats, and four bulbs. Some set for just days and some some for just nights.
