I have a 100w CHE with a wire cage clamp lamp. I really don’t like the cage lamp, also this bulb seems to throw most of the heat behind itself so I’m not sure if it’s working correctly. My enclosed enclosure is 24x40. Juvenile red foot is in enclosure. What type of fixture might be better to hang in my enclosure to put a CHE in? I plan on getting a thermostat. Thanks

I like to use the large dome light fixtures. Most of the ones I have are 10" domes. These reflect the heat downward.

Just be sure you buy the fixtures that have a ceramic base, not the Bakelite base, which gets too hot. And don't use the clamp feature. They sometimes fail. Hang the fixture instead.
