Sorry if this is already covered in another thread. Would it be okay to put a CHE in my double dome light fixture along with my basking bulb, or will that make the basking temp too high? I have a thermometer in the basking area, and it's currently reading 95-100° with just the basking bulb. I just moved my baby to a much larger enclosure, so I'm adding a CHE on a thermostat (which I didn't need in the smaller enclosure). I have another fixture if I need to hang them separately, but it will take some work to figure out how to sound it, and would be much easier to just add it to the double dome if I can. I really appreciate your input regarding the fixture. I've attached a picture of the fixture in question. Thanks!

I’d put it separately because the CHE won’t be able to up your ambient temperature properly next to the basking bulb, the thermostat will just pick up the basking heat, I’d hang the ceramic in the middle and put your thermostat probe in the cooler end🙂

Also deep domes aren’t a good idea for ceramics anyways, you ideal want a 10 inch dome that isn’t deep set, hope this helps!🐢💚
