I've had my Russian Tortoise for probably around 3 or so years, and just recently I have noticed something troubling with her left eye. It has a white looking film over it. I can see her eye underneath of the film though. I just recently started putting eye drops in it to see if they will clear it up. She doesn't move around much and hasn't seemed to eat in a long time. Any clue as to what it could be? Thanks!

Hi Bonsai Guy:

Welcome to the forum!!

That is usually scar tissue. Depending upon what caused the scar tissue, it might get better over time. The opthalmic ointment will help, but it takes time to heal.

Why hasn't the tortoise eaten in a while? Is she outside or inside?
