Is my UVA & UVB working???

Ok so I wanted to ask a quick question. IF my tortoise is going to the bathroom and what not this means my lights are working right? He seems to want to sleep in his hide a lot because of course he is still a hatchling. So he still gets the lighting that he needs if he is hiding under moss? Like I said he is going to the bathroom when I soak him everyday. His shell isn't soft at all. So he is doing good right? Just want to double check

Going to the bathroom has nothing to do with your lights.

What lighting and heating equipment are you using? What are your four temps? Warm side, cool side, basking and night? Does he ever get outside for real sunshine, grazing and exercise?

If your baby is hiding an excessive amount, it might be due to your lighting strategy. Many RFs and CHs don't like bright lighting and will hide from it. Often a ceramic heating element suits them better.

Oh I thought one of the lighting was for digesting there food???
Ok so the humidity is 85% when I put the fogger on it gets to about 90% maybe a little more. Basking is 90F the cool area is 75F and at night it gets around 75F to 80F.
I'm going to be ordering online because I went to the pet store (PETCO & PETSMART) and they didn't have the light I wanted. This is what I was going to order today. What are your thoughts on this? I think this is what I'm supposed to use that will only give off heat NOT light. Right?
