I am a new owner and learning quickly. I think I was told it was a Russian when it was given to me, and it was thought to be at least 10 years old. Is there a way to tell the age?
He is very active and has twice escaped an outdoor enclosure just made with landscaping bricks. I am keeping him inside in an aquarium until I redesign it. He'll keep walking straight into the glass walls for hours, until I take him outside each day. I need to get a new outdoor area ready, so I don't need to babysit him and he can stay out longer.
