Is this a sign of dehydration?

Are the bubbles in the corner of his eye indicative of dehydration?

No. Sulcatas just do this sometimes. I've seen it through the years and I don't know why it happens. There doesn't seem to be a consistent cause.

One of their other common names is "the crying tortoise". Sometimes the tears roll down their faces. I see this when its really hot, and when they burrow. Presumably that is how they wash the dirt out of their eyes while digging.
