Hi just a quick query, my little Diggs has always had a small amount of bubbles coming from his eyes since I got him a few weeks ago. Today after his bath the bubbles started. They're a lot worse than they have been before.
Is this normal?/Should I be worried about it? And does it mean anything, I read online that it can be due to dehydration or low humidity?!? Is this true?!?
What should I do?? Ahh I'm so nervous

He's a greek tortoise, I haven't got a picture of the bubbles but they clearly annoy him as he scratched his eyes when he has them

I don't know much about greeks, but do you know which type of greek you have? If we know which kind, then we'll know what the humidity requirements are. Do you happen to know what your humidity levels and temps are? Also, what kind of light do you provide? Cfl bulbs (aka coil fluorescents) are notorious for eye problems.

It probably means he's a bit hot and dry. A good soak helps, and moisten his substrate a bit.

What sort of UV bulb are you using? Is it a coil type cfl? Those can irritate and burn their eyes.
