Is this mallow? Looks like it, but I am not good with plants ? Olive is very interested in it, want to make sure it's safe!

Is this growing wild? Have you seen any flowers this year?

The “Marsh Mallow” here grows in moist areas & gets blooms similar to Hibiscus/Rose of Sharon.

Yeah, its growing wild. Unsure if it flowers or not, found it growing on one of the old abandoned homesteads around here.

She seems to really want it lol. Wanted to make sure before giving it to her.
How much is good/safe to feed? Daily food item?
My tortoises eat a lot of it almost every day during our cooler rainy season in winter. I usually have it from December to March, depending on the amount of rain we get. Or don't get... It likes the cooler weather. It dies off here in spring, even if you water it. Too hot.

Okay, so it would be fine to add some to her daily food items for the remainder of the fall! I gave her a few pieces and she loves it! I'll have to keep my eyes out for it next year as well!
