Is this normal growth?

I was wondering if this is normal growth lines for my Russian tortoise. Instead of the midline going straight down there's a little jog to it. Sorry I don't know all the technical terms. Is this normal?

Should be completely normal. In hermann's it sometimes gets stronger as they age. I don't know about russians though.

There seems to be a little crack there, that may have caused the slight kink when growing.
But I wouldn't worry myself,these things compensate, not that I know anything much.
