No images on this one. I have cultured and now have two species of isopods in nearly all the enclosures. A very small white one and another type called giant blue/purple.

I noticed the Forsten's have been turning over the tile I feed them on and generally plowing through their substrate. They are eating the giant purple isopods. The substrate looks like the trail box turtles make when they seek earthworms in leaf duff.

Fortunately the isopods are not all slow and many re-burrow before being detected and eaten. It does give the tortoises a good hobby though.
