Ivan 'sunbathing' pics

Hello,
Yesterday morning I was happy to see Ivan enjoying his favorite sunny spot in his yard, so I took the opportunity to take his photo. We have had him a few months (we got him in late summer from a rescue) and so we don't have much background on him. He eats well and although he can still be a bit shy, we can tell he is much more comfortable with his new home. We would appreciate if anyone has thoughts on how old he might be (he is 5" scl). I'm thinking that Ivan is a full grown, wild caught Russian tortoise, as as such, it would be impossible to tell his age. But he looks totally at ease in his new digs. Congrats on rescuing him. He's in a much better place.

As I am also partial to Russians, I love the third pic, full extension, catching some rays!!! He is such a muffin (which is a good thing being muffins are yummy and rt resemble the muffin top only muffins)

Ivan is a very nice looking Russian Tortoise. He seems to love his spot in the sun very much.
