Ivermectin

I give my German Shepherd Ivermectin for heartworm prevention, I never thought about it being dangerous for my tortoise till I read a post where a tortoise died and Tom asked about poison, or ivermectin , Tom or anyone else , if the tortoise ate the poop could it be fatal ?

Oie this stuff will kill reptiles quick, panacur is the way to go.

I agree with all of above. Ivermectin is a no no (also for sheepdogs of British type).

It's extremely important that your tortoise not have access to anywhere that your dog does for this reason and others
