Jackson Ratio?

So the Jackson ratio uses the SCL and the tortoises weight to identify if your tortoise is healthy for hiberation, but is only appliciable to Hermanns and Greek tortoises. Is there a way to identify if a Russian tortoise is healthy for hibernation?

The rule I use is you should have the tort be it a baby or adult, you should have it one full year before you hibernate it .
