I know of an Aldabra and a Galapagos tortoise that died from eating this. Don't know what the symptoms are.

Early on a vet could have tube fed some charcoal or induced vomiting, but after two days I think you just have to wait and see. I would soak the tortoise for an hour daily for a couple of weeks and try to get it to eat some cucumber or opuntia to get the GI tract moving and clear things out. Hydration will help flush the system.

Good luck. Hope your tortoise pulls through.

You can buy activated charcoal in a powdered form from any CVS, Rite Aid or Walgreens, for human consumption and put it in your soaking water. It is tasteless and perhaps through drinking some and absorbing some it will help. Good luck.

I checked with our friend google, and found this about jasmine poisoning in dogs.

There are 3 types of jasmine, with different symptoms. It may help you to ID which plant you have. I realize this is for dogs, but something may be useful to you, even if it's just to be most accurate for the vet.

I really hope he gets through this! Please keep us updated.

Thank You both for the information! He seems to be doing better today, but he still is just laying around. He usually always wants to go outside. Im going to soak him good and give him some more cucumber. He really liked it. Hes looking around a lot so I think Ill let him outside for awhile. It is a beautiful day here. I will keep you posted. Thanks again for your help!
