He is a "MASSIVE" .. Male..... right around 13" and Super Heavy!
Just Look at "Bulk Size" compared to another 6" Jr. CherryHead.

13" straight line across the bottom? I am not saying that he is not, but he just does not look like it to me??? I have really old 10" males that look like his size. Both are great looking tortoises, but I just want to make sure that we are all on the same page as far as how we measure tortoises. Best wishes Douglas Beard

I have 2 females that look just like Oscar. They are captive hatched and are 12 and 13 years old respectively. I have owned them their entire lives. They are half sisters, sharing the same father but different mothers. I have been looking for a mate for them for many years. They do not have the marbling that most of the cherry heads currently in the hobby do. Great looking tortoise.

I had a 14 inch male cherryhead in the mid 80s. He was a nice brute with ivory colored blotches on his carapace. Wish I had kept him now.
