Hi all,
I recently purchased a well started indian star 2 days ago and I have been noticing that sometimes, it has clear bubbles on its nose. Rubs his eyes with his legs and all. I was thinking that this may be due to stress as he was packed in a container filled with moistened moss. I have been told by the breeder to bring up my temp from 90 to a 95. He is eating fine, though is shy and likes to hide. Been soaking him and he is doing okay with his droppings. I am just worried that this will progress. Does anyone have any experience with this? I have seen a thread about this but never knew if his tortoise got better or not. Breeder did offer me to ship him back but I would like to know if by doing this (increasing temp), will actually improve his symptoms?
Substrate: cypress
Using UVB 5.0, feeding with lettuce and dandelion greens
