Just some silliness!

While I was fixing Mazuri for my Hermann's, one of my cats was begging for it, apparently thinking it was cat food. I told him that cats don't eat tortoise food and offered him a small dab as proof, expecting him to sniff and turn up his nose. But instead he slurped it up! ...(here it comes) and he's not even a tortoiseshell cat!!!

He probably knew it was for those pesky tortoises and he was going to be darned that he didn't get any of it. I bet even if he hated it, he would have eaten it. My dog is very jealous of my torts. She actually used to pout when I would sit with Tatum on the couch, then she'd go into "I will be funny mode" then mom will have to pay attention to me and not that stupid tortoise. (that's the dog calling tortoise stupid, not me)

LOL ...MOOZ .....I catch the kittys' trying to nibble it too....although once a small taste they dont like it ... However Sally will naw on it a bit . I also found the Koi in the pond dig the stuff ....

I was surprised too- he can be pretty picky about food. Just goes to show, ALL our critters are full of surprises!
