Hi I recently got a new Hermanns tortoise, I’ve had him for about a month, he’s probably about 6months old. I’m using a plastic tub for his enclosure it’s a 50gal sterilite tub, humidity is anywhere from 75-87 depending on the time of day and when I have sprayed. Temps are about 95-100 on the warm side and cold side is 75-80 through out the day. I’m worried about keeping his area clean, I try to do spot cleanings everyday but I can’t always find everything and then once a week during my tortoise’s soak I rotate the soil. How often does the soils need to be changed and how do we keep things from growing with high humidity? Is there anything else I can do the keep it clean? He or she is a lot messier than I would have imagined. I can post pictures of enclosure if I need to
