Hello, welcome to the forum. First of all I would suggest getting one tortoise. Tortoises do not do well in pairs. You can get food from the grocery store but you should add supplements to it if you do. A better option is to grow seeds from specific tortoise seed mixes. Check out the leopard species specific section for some ideas.

Hello, Where do you live? Leopards are fine tortoises to keep. Depending on where you live they can be tough or very easy. They get medium size to large and do not hibernate. If you live in areas where it cooler during the winter you might need a heat hide. If your somewhre with more moderate temps they are fairly easy might only need a small heat hide.

You'll need a minimum of at least 3-4 Leopards, 1 male, 2 (3 generally preferred) female to successfully house them in groups. You'll need a lot of space. We're talking over 10 x 10 feet minimum for a single adult. Leopards get pretty big.

There are various ways to obtain food. Supermarkets, farmer's markets, planting yourself, and even online retailers for bulk items such as seeds, hay, flowers, and supplements.

I would like to add that you don’t need to have a male, and there should only be one if you plan to breed :)
