Hello, these are my little guys... the picture was taken back in July 23rd so they are pretty recent.

Mine are kept... indoors since the day I got them... not saying that its a good thing but I don't really have a choice to put them outside at the moment unless I watch them and bring them in shortly after. I also feed them store bought stuff.... but variety is key. Cactus every so often, mazuri, zoomed, some grasses and soon hibiscus I am going. Spring mix if I have a busy week :x

Hi...., I don't know if you have the ability to grow your own grass...like in little flats that you can move in and out of their enclosure as they graze it down and put new in to rotate it for growth and grazing...you can feed romaine, red leaf lettuce, radiccio, a bit of yellow squash, parsley, a touch of spinach (only a bit once a week) also, dandelion is an awesome source of calcium and vitamin A, also you can purchase some seeds to grow clover which is good as well.

I bet if you search this forum you will find even more suggestions :)

I do have to say that if you have the option to purchase organic vs standard grocery store produce I would certainly go organic.

Hi! I usually feed a mix of chopped tortoise grass (Carolina Pet Supply... great stuff!), spring mix, cactus, hibiscus, dandelions, whatever else can be picked from his tortoise garden, and a couple times a week I will add squash or bell pepper... something of that sort and I put a chunk of aloe in for him to munch on.

Here is my Ziggy doing what he does best :)

they REALLY need to be outside sometime.. build a portable one.. get a plastic tote, put some dirt and a hide, dish and put him outside for some sun. not in the heat of the day.. shade.. but sun is a must.
