Latest TF Rescue

Here is Mesa the latest Tortoise Forum Rescue. She is severely pyramided, has MBD and can expect kidney problems in the future after being raised dry for the last 3-4 yrs. She is 4yrs old 6lbs and approp 11in. Thank you to ShellysMom(Erika) for arranging this rescue and to LuckysGirl007(Kim) for actually being the hero to start Mesa on her new life. This was Kim's 6th tortoise rescue!! She is so awesome! Now I feel so lucky to be the one to give Mesa a new home, family and all the love, and good care she has been denied.
Finally for all TFO members who aren't aware ShellysMom formed this rescue and not only arranges the rescues but is the sole financial backer. She is amazing and her and Kim are my TFO hero-s!!

Congrats to all for the great save. I don't understand how people seeing an animal growing in an odd shape don't seek some kind of help or advice. I understand the pyramiding, but the obvious weird shape growing, I don't understand. Glad he was found and can now enjoy a healthier life.
