Life is a Beach even in -8 degree weather

Well Mytrle the turtle sure knows how to live during the ice age. It was -8 degrees with the wind chill of -35 degrees. There were drafts in the old house I never knew we had.

Myrtle was living life free from drafts basking under her lights. It makes me laugh how water turtles stretch their toes & legs to sun bathe. She sleeps on her dock like the queen of the beach and I must admit I am jealous!

She sure enjoys life. Life is a beach to her no matter what is going on in the world. I just love this little turtle who brings me joy.

Isn't awesome how they can stay like that for hours . I would be crying after five minutes from muscle cramps . It's really funny when you have two of them and one is all resting in its favorite pose and the other one climbs on its back and makes a pose .
