I have heard that the Zoomed Power Sun bulbs are the best for RT's as far as having everything you need (heat and UV). The one thing I can't seem to find out is what the wattage you need. I have heard 160 and 100.

Most of us would probably suggest going with the lower wattage, and simply raising/lowering the lamp to achieve the ideal basking temperature.

Would you suggest going under 100 watts or staying with 100 and doing the raising/lowering?

The 100. I bought a larger one year or two ago for my lizard and it's way to hot for me. I wouldn't buy that large of a wattage again.

I had a 100w and it worked fine untill I need to replace. I plant to get another one, same W, when winter comes around.
