Hi.
First off my lights are:
Basking: Arcadia SBF100 Basking Solar Lamp UVA Floodlight
UV: Arcadia LumenIZE Pro T5 UVB Kit, D3+, 12% UV-B, 24 Watt
LED: Arcadia LumenIZE Jungle Dawn LED Bar, 570mm (23"), 39 Watt & 54W
The basking light is connected to a dimmer/timer/thermostat. It turns on from 7:30 to 18:30, with a 30 min ramp time.
The lumenizers are able to dim, as to recreate a natural day.
The LED turns on at 6:30 and reaches 10% by 7:00. Then it increases gradually until it reaches 100% by midday (12:00) and stays at 100% till 16:00. Then it decreases gradually back to 10% by 19:30 and from then turns off by 20:00.

The UV turns on at 9:00 and gradually increases to until it reaches 100% by midday (12:00) and stays at 100% till 16:00. Then it decreases gradually to 10% by 18:30 and from then turns off by 19:00.

Now Master Oogway sometimes stays asleep till 10 am, other he's up by 6am. But in the afternoon, he seems to go bed rather early and often before his lights go off. Rarely he goes to bed then comes out again at 7pm (19:00) to roam about have a nip or sip and go back to bed.
So I wonder if the light schedule should be shortened or modified?
I live in Scotland, so I don't know if he is able to tell (by instinct?) when seasons outside change?
He also sometimes sleeps in a hole he digs under a log in the basking area, sometimes he goes to one of the far ends and sleeps in his humid hide/cave, and some other he just sleeps in the open in the corner in his basking area.
Thanks in advance and sorry if my explanation is confusing, I appreciate all your advice.
