Good afternoon,
Need advice please. I did look at previous threads before I posted and many are years ago and recent posts do not address liquid form of calcium and vitamins.
I have powdered form of vitamins and calcium I also leave a cuttle bone in the tanks. cuttlebone isn't touched and scraping it on the food neither tortoise will eat the food. If I sprinkle calcium powder on food alternating with sprinkling vitamin powder on food neither tortoise will eat it.
My reptile vet YES I ACTUALLY HAVE ONE NOW!!!!!😆 She is now near where I live!!!!!!! Brought Squirt in for a check up and xrays of lungs. Congestion was there)
Recommended using liquid vitamins and liquid calcium on their food. There are many to choose from and I do not know which would be best for my Indian Star (has a respiratory illness being treated) and my Brazilian Cherry Head. I would appreciate your recommendations on liquid vitamins and liquid calcium.
My vet also has me soaking Squirt 15 minutes in warm water electrolyte baths. Both Squirt and Pumpkin have their own tanks
Thanks for reading.Answers are MUCH appreciated:tort:

It's interesting to note that a tortoise won't eat if you put too much powdered calcium on the food, and yet if you put a tiny bowl of calcium.in the enclosure they eat it as needed.

Years ago I bought a bottle of blackberry flavored liquid calcium. It's been so long ago that I don't remember where I got it, but if you look for 'fruit flavored liquid calcium' maybe Google can help you find it.

There are some liquid calcium glubionate items, but otherwise I’m not super familiar with many reputable liquid minerals or multivitamins. Have you tried multiple brands of powdered vitamins?

Thanks for your suggestion but Indian Star tortoises can't have any kind of fruit because their digestive system can't metabolize sugar. The blackberry I would think has sugar
