So when I was watching my tortoise today I noticed one tiny white insect crawling on the shell. It was very quick, and it disappeared before I could get it. I looked carefully, but couldn't find any others in the enclosure. I saw one back in August when I brought my tortoise home. Same thing, it was only one, and I never saw another after changing the substrate, until now. Should I be concerned about this? I hate to think of my poor tortoise with insects crawling on it! Oh and it doesn't look like a silverfish, it was whiter, and smaller.
